Attend Historic Event at Knesset: Aliyah Day Law Introduction!

As part of a Knesset conference encouraging Aliyah and a stronger connection to Diaspora Jewry, Kumah’s Yishai Fleisher will present to the Knesset new legislation for the creation of an annual civic holiday: ALIYAH DAY. The proposed day will celebrate the ingathering of the vibrant and diverse Jewish People into the Land of Israel after 2,000 years, and encourage Jews to take pride in their roots and in their common connection to Israel.
The event will feature some of the heros and ardent supporters of modern-day Aliyah, including war hero MK Yaakov “Ketzeleh” Katz, Yehuda Katz of the Jewish Agency, Danny Oberman of Nefesh b’Nefesh, Rabbi Berel Wein of the Destiny Foundation, Minister of Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein, former head of the Jewish Agency MK Ze’ev Bielski, and Shai Kramer of the Center for Zionist Emissaries.
When: Monday, March 15 from 9:45am to 12:00pm (attendees are encouraged to arrive early for security checks)
